His architecture and construction background was invaluable. His father Amato was also instrumental in keeping us on track to meet our budget through "value" engineering during our design phase. Our goal was a "Hawaiian Style" home and he really nailed it for us. His drawing ability and his knowledge of architectural styles was a real joy to observe. It was very exciting to meet with him during the conceptual period and see our home evolve exactly like we hoped it would.
